Villa Ginestra

Villa Ginestra is a recently built, contemporary property near Noto in south-east Sicily, set high enough to look out over open countryside towards the sea.

It sleeps up to 9 guests in five bedrooms with six bathrooms, and its layout across two separate buildings makes it a natural fit for families travelling together or friends who value a little independence.

Both buildings rise over two floors, and the main villa holds three of the bedrooms, each with a private bathroom: two ground-floor suites with double beds and shower rooms, and a third double upstairs.

That upper level, reached by stairs inside and out, is where the day happens, with a light-filled sitting and dining area, a modern kitchen and a guest bathroom. The annex adds its own sitting room and kitchenette, a compact single bedroom with a bathroom downstairs, and an en-suite fifth bedroom above.

Furnishings are refined throughout, and the house comes with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, satellite reception, four TVs, a washing machine, two ovens and two dishwashers.

Outside, a natural, characterful garden surrounds the pool, and spacious terraces with outdoor dining and a barbecue let you take in the view from morning to evening. It is an easy choice if you want a villa with private pool near Noto.

Fontane Bianche, San Lorenzo and Calamosche beaches are only a few kilometres off. So are Noto itself and the other baroque towns of Modica, Scicli, Ragusa, Palazzolo Acreide and Syracuse, along with the nature reserves of Cavagrande del Cassibile and Vendicari.
