Villa il Gallo

Villa il Gallo is a 450-square-metre country villa at Serravalle Pistoiese, near Pistoia in Tuscany, surrounded by a 45-acre park of olive groves, fruit trees and green walks.

Seven bedrooms and five bathrooms sleep up to 14 guests, making it a villa for large families in Tuscany within easy reach of Florence, Lucca and the Versilia coast.

The ground floor opens into a spacious lounge in a refined classical style, with sofas, fireplace, fine rugs and a dining table, and sliding glass doors onto a veranda overlooking the countryside. A bathroom sits alongside, with stairs up to a gallery holding a double bed.

A second, more rustic living area with armchairs, fireplace and dining table leads to a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry with washer and dryer. The bedrooms here have beams and pastel walls: a double with en-suite shower, a double with shower and bath that opens to the outside, and a twin.

The first floor, reached from inside or outside, has its own kitchen, a lounge with fireplace and piano, two doubles with private bathrooms and a twin room that can become a double. All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Outdoors, the garden is planted with aromatic herbs and roses, and the grounds are divided into private corners. A gazebo shelters an outdoor dining table, with a barbecue at the back of the villa.

6 metres, has a changing room, fridge, toilet and solar shower, plus sunbeds, umbrellas and a lounge area for sunset drinks. Children have a play corner with a seesaw and slide.

The shops of Casalguidi are 1.5 km away. Pistoia is 12 km, Montecatini Terme 22 km, Florence 46 km, Lucca 48 km, Pisa 65 km and Viareggio 90 km.
