Villa la Guardiana is a restored stone farmhouse in the hills of Bibbona, reached by a country lane lined with mulberry bushes through the Magona woodland.
Close to Guardistallo on the Etruscan Coast of Tuscany, it has eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms and can host up to 21 guests, which makes it a villa for large groups in Tuscany well suited to reunions and multi-family holidays.
The house covers around 600 square metres over two levels, divided into two independent apartments of four en-suite bedrooms each, linked by an internal staircase.
The ground floor has a large lounge with TV corner and fireplace, a second sitting room, a dining area, a kitchen sized for 16 and four double bedrooms with shower rooms. Upstairs are a kitchen with a view and fireplace, a dining area, a lounge, four more bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and an extra guest bathroom.
Every room has air conditioning, and extra beds can be added to reach the full capacity.
The farmhouse has been restored in keeping with Tuscan tradition and sits in an open, quiet spot with a 360-degree view of the countryside. 5 metres deep, can be heated and looks out over the hills; its solarium is set up with eight loungers, eight sun beds and umbrellas.
A south-facing panoramic terrace with barbecue, table and chairs leads by stairs down to the garden, and a second barbecue with oven stands outside.
The area is dotted with country towns worth visiting, including Montescudaio, Riparbella and Casale Marittimo, where the nearest shops are 4 km away. The beaches of Marina di Bibbona are 17 km, Volterra 31.6 km, San Gimignano 61 km and Pisa airport 73 km.
