Villa la Tenuta

Villa la Tenuta stands within the Tenuta Castello del Terriccio estate near Castellina Marittima, on the soft hills of coastal Tuscany.

Part of an old settlement of Etruscan origin, it offers seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms for up to 14 guests, making it a natural choice for extended families or several couples travelling together. Pets are welcome.

The setting is the real draw. Vineyards alternate with woods of Turkey oak and oak, eucalyptus and Mediterranean scrub, and the land rolls on past fields and farmhouses all the way to the sea between Bibbona and Castiglioncello. Lakes and streams across the estate support a rich variety of wild flowers and wildlife.

From the property four islands of the Tuscan archipelago are visible, and in the evening the sun sinks into the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The pool is a generous 22 x 9 metres, 1.5 metres deep, laid out with sunbeds and loungers. A gazebo and a relaxation area sit close by, together with a barbecue and an outdoor dining spot for dinners once the heat of the day has eased.

The house is set up for a comfortable group stay, with air conditioning, central heating, Wi-Fi and TV, a kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, board games for quieter evenings, a first-aid kit and free parking on site. Towels and bed linen are provided.
