Villa Limoncello is a historic family residence in Amalfi, on the Amalfi Coast, full of sunlight and looking out over the sea and the coastline.
Covering about 300 square metres, with four bedrooms and seven bathrooms for up to eight guests, it suits families and small groups who want to stay within walking distance of the town.
The house has clearly been cherished by its family, and it shows in the details: embroidered doilies stitched by hand in the last century by the aunts who loved the place still add a personal note. The sea is in view from all around the house.
Inside there is air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi and TV, a kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and coffee maker, a safe and a high chair. Daily housekeeping is provided and breakfast is included.
Private terraces with sea views are made for long dinners as the sun goes down over the water, and an outdoor hot tub adds a relaxing extra.
The location is a real strength. Piazza Flavio Gioia, the heart of Amalfi with its shops, restaurants, beach, SITA bus stop and harbour, is about 300 metres away. From the square you can reach the villa either by the public lift, which runs from 8 am to midnight, or by climbing around 300 steps.
A car is not needed; if you bring one, there is a paid public car park nearby. For a holiday villa on the Amalfi Coast with the town on your doorstep, Villa Limoncello is very well placed.
