Villa Papaya is in a quiet residential area of Licata, on the southern coast of Sicily, just 350 metres on foot from the sandy beach of Marianello. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms for up to 6 guests, this beach villa in Sicily is an easy fit for families or two couples travelling together.

The house is spread over two floors with cosy, tastefully furnished rooms. Downstairs is the sleeping area, with three air-conditioned bedrooms, two well-appointed bathrooms and a sitting room.

The upper floor, which can also be reached from outside, has an elegant living room with fireplace and a bright, well-equipped kitchen whose wide glass windows open onto the large panoramic terrace.

Wi-Fi, three TVs with satellite, a hi-fi, a washing machine and dishwasher are all provided, along with a high chair for small children.

A lush, carefully kept garden surrounds the villa. The saltwater pool sits within it, and spacious terraces with outdoor furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue look out to the sea. Parking is on site.

Beyond being able to walk to the beach, the location works well for exploring this part of Sicily: Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples, the Scala dei Turchi at Realmonte, Sciacca, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone, Modica and Ragusa are all within reach.
