Luxury Villa Close to the Sea of Forte dei Marmi, also known as Villa Andrea, is an eighteenth-century residence of 700 square metres in the hills of Versilia above Camaiore, with wide views down to the Tuscan coast.

Seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms sleep up to 15 guests, and with the beaches about 5 km away it is a strong pick for families and groups wanting a villa near the sea in Tuscany with countryside quiet.

Every bedroom looks out over the landscape and is furnished with genuine antiques and a few well-chosen design touches. Bathrooms are finished in fine Italian marble or hand-painted ceramics, the bedrooms have minibars, and both the bedrooms and the second-floor rooms are air-conditioned.

The ground floor has an entrance hall, a large kitchen with professional oven, slicer, ice maker and espresso machine opening straight outside, and, a few steps down, a dining room and a billiard room.

On the first floor are a living room, a suite with its own sitting area and a bathroom with whirlpool bath, and two doubles with en-suite shower rooms. The second floor holds further living rooms, one with satellite TV and a laundry corner, plus doubles, a twin and a double that takes an additional single.

The gardens are formal and generous, with lemon trees, roses and ornamental fountains, and an olive grove beyond. The 10 x 5 metre pool sits behind the house in the middle of the garden, with umbrellas, sun loungers, pool towels and a view over Versilia.

A small apartment in a restored old mill nearby, with its original machinery, is not part of the rental.

Pietrasanta is 5 km away, Forte dei Marmi 10 km, Viareggio 12 km, Lucca 28 km and Florence 100 km. The resorts of Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio, Marina di Pietrasanta and Lido di Camaiore offer beaches, restaurants, shops and nightlife. Housekeeping is included, and a cook can be arranged.
