Luxury Villa Gialla the View of Tuscan Countryside is a former nineteenth-century summer residence of a noble family, set at 350 metres on the hill above Montecatini, within the Valdinievole area and the municipality of Massa e Cozzile.

Five double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a double sofa bed sleep up to 12 guests, making this villa with private pool in Tuscany a good match for families and groups of friends.

A solid old wooden door opens onto the ground floor, with an entrance hall, a sitting area and a laundry room, and a stone staircase rises to the floors above.

The first floor, also reachable by an outside staircase, has a kitchen with dining area looking onto the garden, a large bright living room with fireplace and a quiet corner, a shower room plus a double bedroom that has its own small reading room stocked with antique books.

On the second floor are four spacious doubles with en-suite shower rooms. The rooms are furnished in a modern, bright style, each with its own colour scheme and a view of the park, while some of the family's original furniture remains and, where they could be saved, the old frescoes were brought back.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned.

The villa sits in a park of olive trees, traditional Tuscan terraces and vines, with a 15 x 5 metre pool in the grounds. The caretakers live next door and are on hand if needed without intruding.

The position is handy for touring: the A11 motorway exit at Montecatini is under 10 minutes away, Florence is 40 km and Pisa 45 km, and Pistoia, Lucca and the Versilia coast are within an hour's drive, with Siena about an hour and a half. Families can also visit the Pinocchio Park at Collodi.
