Tenuta Toscolano is an estate at Toscolano Maderno on Lake Garda made up of two independent villas, Villa Garda and Villa Le Selve, and each has a pool of its own.
Together they offer seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms for up to 14 guests, a flexible arrangement for two families or a group who want to share an estate while keeping separate homes.
Giancarlo Maroni, the architect behind the Vittoriale degli Italiani, Gabriele D'Annunzio's celebrated home, designed Villa Garda in the 1920s. Its historic character has been carefully preserved, and it now comes with modern comforts including a heated pool, a heated outdoor whirlpool and a gym.
At Villa Le Selve, the outdoor space centres on a large infinity pool treated with natural salt sterilisation, which can be heated on request so it can be enjoyed in every season.
A big hydromassage tub is set into stone masonry, and the poolside has a table for outdoor meals and deckchairs, all framed by fragrant flower beds and olive trees.
Across the estate there is also a sauna, a barbecue, air conditioning, central heating and Wi-Fi. Daily housekeeping is available, high chairs are provided, and pets are welcome, making this villa with private pool on Lake Garda easy for families.
