Villa Cacciatora

Villa Cacciatora is a stone country house at Pergine Valdarno, in the Arezzo countryside of Tuscany, fully restored in traditional Tuscan style.

With six bedrooms, four bathrooms and room for up to 12 guests, it is a practical, well-placed villa for 12 guests in Tuscany for families or friends who want to explore the region's art cities and the Chianti hills.

The ground floor is built for sociable living. A large kitchen comes with a five-burner stove, an American-style fridge with ice maker, an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and both Italian and American coffee machines.

Next to it are a dining room seating 12 and a lounge with a fireplace, satellite TV and DVD player. This floor also has a laundry with washing machine and iron, a storage room with a freezer, a guest bathroom and a roomy cellar holding a selection of Tuscan wines.

Upstairs are the six bedrooms. The main bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, bath and double basins, another double has an en-suite shower room and an outside staircase down to the garden, and a further double sits on a mezzanine level. A terrace with steps leads down to the garden.

Air conditioning and central heating are in place throughout, along with Wi-Fi.

Outside, a private swimming pool, open from May to September, sits in the garden, while a pergola and several terraces give plenty of room for meals outdoors.

The nearest shops are at Badia Agnano, 4.7 km away, with Bucine at 11 km and Arezzo at 23 km. Castelnuovo Berardenga, in the Chianti Classico area, is 27 km, Cortona 40 km, Siena 47 km, Florence 67 km and Perugia 86 km; Pisa airport is 146 km away.
