Villa Giulia

Villa Giulia is a recently renovated villa in Baveno on Lake Maggiore, with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms for up to ten guests. It is a comfortable choice for families or friends who want a villa with a private pool on Lake Maggiore and plenty to do on the doorstep.

The renovation has brought the house fully up to date. Every bedroom has air conditioning, there is wi-fi throughout and flat-screen TVs, and a full kitchen for self-catering.

The standout feature is the wellness area, which brings together a gym, a Jacuzzi tub, a massage room and a sauna, so rest days can be spent without leaving the property. Outside, the private pool is warmed by solar panels.

Baveno and neighbouring Stresa are well placed for an active holiday: water sports, walking, cycling, golf, boat trips and, in winter, skiing at the Mottarone ski centre. On the lake you can rent a boat or try the local wakeboarding school.

The Stresa-Mottarone cable car leaves from the Lido in Stresa every 20 minutes, and from the top the view takes in seven lakes and the Alps.

Ferries from Stresa reach the Borromean Islands of Isola Madre, Isola Bella and Isolino di San Giovanni, the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto and the hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso. Lake Orta is within a 30-minute drive.
