Villa Grazia Resort

Villa Grazia Resort is a detached country house in Molazzana, in the Garfagnana valley near Barga, about 216 square metres in size and set in peaceful farmland.

It sleeps up to ten guests in four bedrooms with four bathrooms and is open all year, Christmas and New Year included, making it a relaxed choice for families, friends and anyone travelling with a dog who wants a pet-friendly villa with a pool in Tuscany.

The bedrooms are arranged with flexibility in mind: one has a double bed plus a sofa bed, one has three single beds, and the other two have double beds. There is a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a traditional fireplace, and a laundry room.

Three bathrooms have showers and the fourth has a hydromassage bath. A covered terrace takes in a wide view over the surrounding countryside.

Outdoors there are large gardens, an outdoor dining area with barbecue and wood oven, a lounge corner with sofas and armchairs, private parking and a swimming pool for the sole use of guests.

The whole property is fenced and includes an olive grove and a fruit orchard where dogs can run safely, plus a children's play area within sight of the terrace.

The villa is well placed for Lucca and for the medieval villages of the valley: Barga, Castelvecchio Pascoli, Castelnuovo di Garfagnana and Castiglione di Garfagnana, as well as the Calomini Hermitage and the Grotta del Vento cave.

The Apennines offer walks through woods and along rivers and waterfalls, and the Versilia coast is about 50 minutes away. Barga-Gallicano station is roughly 3 km away, Pisa Airport under two hours by car. Wine visits, bike hire, trekking, horse riding, rafting and a pizza-chef evening can be arranged on request.
