Villa i Giardini

Villa i Giardini is a 250-square-metre villa in Amalfi with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, sleeping up to 12 guests. With a private pool, a fenced garden and parking for four cars, it is a practical and characterful villa for families on the Amalfi Coast, as well as for groups of friends who like to eat together.

The interiors draw on local craft. The sitting room has sofas for 12, a crystal chandelier, a crystal table for six and sliding iron shutters that open onto a terrace with built-in seating. Blue and yellow printed tiles, wicker chairs and a round marble table for four frame the sea view.

The separate dining room seats 14 beneath another crystal chandelier, with a fridge stocked with local wine, and doors lead both to the kitchen and to the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped, with eight gas burners, an American fridge with ice maker, a dishwasher and a French window opening onto the terrace.

Four double bedrooms in the main building are decorated with majolica tiles, bright colours and marble details; the annex adds two more double rooms that can be set up as twins. Every bedroom has its own shower room, TV, air conditioning and heating, and either sea-view windows or access to a terrace.

Outdoor life centres on the terrace, where a round ceramic table seats 14 next to the barbecue, and on the garden and private pool. Daily housekeeping and a local concierge make the stay run smoothly.
