Villa Sant’Andrea

Villa Sant'Andrea is a country villa in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, set within a working farm in the Chianti Classico area of Tuscany. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms and room for up to 12 guests make it a comfortable family villa in Chianti for larger groups.

The villa has been updated with the environment in mind, with heating from an eco-friendly pellet boiler alongside air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is well equipped, a TV and high chair are available, daily housekeeping is provided and pets are welcome.

A large garden surrounds the house, with a barbecue area and outdoor dining, and a private seasonal pool measuring 12 by 6 metres and 1.40 metres deep, set up with sunbeds and umbrellas. Parking is right next to the villa.

The Sant'Andrea estate covers some 600 hectares, centred on the old village of Fabbrica, where the villa stands alongside the Church of Sant'Andrea and the cellars where the wine is aged.

Around the village, about 50 hectares of vineyards occupy the best-exposed slopes at roughly 250 metres above sea level, while olive groves cover the hills and the valley floors are farmed, partly irrigated from the estate's two large lakes.

The land also belongs to the Fabbrica – Santa Cristina wildlife and hunting estate, and walkers and cyclists can follow numerous routes through woods of oak, holm oak, acacia and cypress and open pastures home to the area's native wildlife.
