Villa Maremma

Villa Maremma is an elegant country residence near Gavorrano, in the Maremma area of southern Tuscany, a land of old villages, rich food and wine, open countryside and a sea fringed by pinewoods.

With seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms and room for up to 14 guests, it suits large families and groups who want space, comfort and a private pool.

Natural materials set the tone inside: stone, terracotta and wood, paired with quality furniture and plenty of natural light. Warm, light colours run through the spacious living areas.

The ground floor of the main house holds the entrance, a TV room, a sitting room with fireplace, a study, a dining room with a second fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen suited to traditional Tuscan cooking, and a laundry.

Upstairs are two master bedrooms with walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms, two double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a room with a king-size bed and another with single beds that share a bathroom with bath and shower.

Close to the house, a separate annex has a bedroom with king-size bed, a shower room and a sitting room with kitchenette. Air conditioning, central heating, Wi-Fi and daily housekeeping are provided.

A large, carefully tended park surrounds the villa, with shady trees, flower beds and Mediterranean plants. The pool, open from May to October, looks out over the countryside and is lined with comfortable sunbeds. Beside the main house, the pool house contains a traditional hammam.
