Villa Plumeria

Villa Plumeria is a contemporary luxury villa in south-eastern Sicily, set among the baroque towns and the coastline made famous by the Inspector Montalbano series.

With five bedrooms, six bathrooms and room for up to 10 guests, it works well for families or groups of friends who want space to spread out and a wellness area of their own.

The house rises over three floors, each with its own character. At ground level there is a sitting room, a kitchen and two bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower.

The first floor holds a generous living room, a second fully equipped kitchen, two more en-suite bedrooms and a separate bathroom, so larger parties can cook and gather on two levels without getting in each other's way.

The master bedroom has the top floor to itself, with an en-suite shower and a private panoramic terrace. Interiors are warm and comfortable, every room is air-conditioned, and there is Wi-Fi, satellite TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a safe.

A dedicated wellness room with sauna and Jacuzzi is one of the villa's real draws, ideal after a day of sightseeing. Outside, wide terraces open up the views and leave plenty of room for sun loungers and meals cooked on the barbecue.

As a holiday villa in Sicily's south-east, Villa Plumeria makes an easy base for exploring Modica, Scicli, Ragusa Ibla and Noto. The lively seafront and clubs of Marina di Ragusa are within easy reach, as are the Montalbano locations of Sampieri and Punta Secca and the Castle of Donnafugata.
