Villa Sestina

Villa Sestina is a nineteenth-century Tuscan farmhouse a short distance from the village of Villa a Sesta, in the Castelnuovo Berardenga area of the province of Siena.

Surrounded by the green hills of Chianti and overlooking vineyards, it has eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms for up to 16 guests, a great fit for large families or groups wanting a Chianti villa with infinity pool.

The house belongs to an estate of more than 1,100 hectares, 47 of them planted with vines, mostly Sangiovese, the grape behind Chianti Classico. Inside, rural Tuscan craftsmanship meets modern elegance: handmade cotto floors, beamed ceilings and stone walls, with furnishings chosen with care for comfort.

On the ground floor are a fully equipped professional kitchen, a small lounge with guest bathroom and three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Upstairs, a lounge with bookcase, TV and a large picture window frames the countryside, alongside four more en-suite double bedrooms.

Facing the main house, an annex has two entrances: one to a bright dining room with a big window and a kitchen, the other to a double bedroom with its own bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning and TV.

Outdoors, the infinity pool measures 18 by 6 metres, with depth from 90 to 190 cm, and is open from May to September. A barbecue and pizza oven sit beside an outdoor dining area, perfect for summer evenings under the stars.

Breakfast is served each morning, housekeeping is provided daily, and the pool and outdoor areas are cleaned every morning.

The Chianti countryside of the Siena hills surrounds Villa Sestina on every side, making it a peaceful base for a Tuscan holiday.
